[E-SC-L] Ax's "It's so... big" Nearly Complete List of Superior and Socketed Items

[:1]If I missed something you probably would be amazed. Everything's divided into item types then alphabetical, and there shouldn't be duplicates, but it's possible one or two exist due to the old list and new list being mixed. Feel free to ask if I have other gear to compliment a trade.

Looking for transferrable currency, whether it be runes (preferred), charms or jewels, but also am trying to make/trade for:

Pride (for merc)

Exile

Grief (in a phase blade)

Also, a couple questions:

Are non-socketed, non-ethereal armors even trading below 10%ED?

Have double-ethereal armors been restricted here yet (last I checked they weren't on the list) and, if not, is there an informal price guide for them?

1) not too much right now, but as long as the defense is good, they're worth something.

2) eth bug armors are still tradeable; I see no reason why they would be banned here either. There is no formal price for these at all; basically any eth armor over 700 defense will command a premium despite any strength requirements since they're going on a merc.

The values I used at the end of last season when I was trading for these was pul-um for 700-800 defense, mal-ist for 800-860 defense, and ist+ for 860+ armors(max possible is like 900 on a sacred I believe without being superior). Of course there was high demand for them with very limited time to get them then since there was only a 1 week window between the 1.11 patch and the ladder reset, so figure these values might be a bit high for this season, but not too far off.

On a side note, I'm kind of interested in an eth small crescent; would you trade your unsocketed one for an unsocketed hydra bow? Or maybe a dol and a shael? Let me know what you think-

Things you may not trade:
  • Accounts this would include custom made characters and socket quests

  • Anything that is NOT a item in Diablo II (money, cdkeys, items in other games, your left kidney)

  • Any items found with a bot including, but not limited to Pindlebot, Shopbot, Mephbot

  • Any hacked or duped items (even if they aren't listed in the Do Not Trade List or Dupes List

  • Any bugged items (this includes zod bugged items)

  • Any pre v 1.09 items

  • For Non Ladder anything on the Do Not Trade List or Dupes List

  • For Ladder anything on the Do Not Trade List

As far as I know, these double-ethereal armors qualify as bugged, so I had to ask. I think it's best to wait for an official opinion from the mods before agreeing to any trade. As of right now this is my entire inventory list, so simply including them in such a list doesn't mean they're for trade if they are restricted, and as such I wouldn't be violating the rules since there's no official word yet.

Ethereal small crescents are listed at Pul, plain hydra bows aren't listed at all, though I'd suspect their value rises if receiving four sockets. Even then they'd be roughly equal, and that doesn't include the runes/gems required to take 4oS shots. Add to this the facts that I can't use one, I have a Crusader Bow (4oS) up there I haven't been able to trade and it's bigger than the item I'm trying to free up and I'd have to say no to this particular offer as I don't value a Shael+Dol at around Pul.

Although there's no listing for perfect matriarchal bows, this one being a mere one percent from that should probably make it at least worth such, if not more. Though I expect a bit higher final price out of each of these, I'll take yours down as starting bids.

The rules that mention no "bugged" items(items generated by bnet with stats they do not normally have) are referring to items like +1 skills bugged siggards stealth, that soj with +7 skills, etc. Before 1.11 came out, eth armors had problems when upgraded, as you may recall; they did not retain the ethereal bonus when upgraded, but they were still allowed to be traded here (i.e. 1.10 up'ed eth hoz's or uped eth skulders).

Since these armors are not generated by bnet "bugged", and instead is the result of the cube socketing formula, it isn't really a bug. It's an extra added defense bonus for cube socketing eth armors; it might not have been intended to work that way, but blizzard didn't intend on marrowwalks to be used for synergies either, so does that make them "bugged" meaning they can't be traded either? As far as I know, there isnt a single item on ladder that isn't allowed to be traded on these forums, even last season there weren't any; the only restrictions are for NL items due to heavy duping. I understand you're being cautious, but there have already been many eth armors cube socketed for the extra defense put up for trade in these forums since 1.11 came out, and not one has been closed.

Anywho, how bout this then for a trade: an offensive auras/18% gold find skiller, a sol and shael for a 4os eth sm crescent and that eth vortex shield with 29 resists. That's about a mal total in value, so let me know what you think-

I already have an Ist starting offer from xlodtraderx on the auric (which I may keep for my own Exile, as written above the original list), so I don't think I can accept this.|||LS2:

BTW, with regards to Marrowwalk being bugged, it wasn't. The game code, not item code, treated charges as synergies, hence the reason why I emphatically insisted this was supposed to be call a charge synergy, not a Marrowwalk bug, since all charges were used as synergies. Only by releasing 1.11 (two years after saying 1.10 would be the last patch) and causing just as much grief with even more bugs did we get an official pronouncement the charge synergies were unintended.

Because older ethereal unique armors that were upgraded have not gained back the ethereal bonus then it can be assumed that it was the upgrading process that was bugged, and Blizzard has never been known to retroactively give benefits from their mistakes, only to take them away. I have a .09 Snowclash that was virtually ruined by Blizzard's patch, now having a SLvl1 Blizzard hitpower - that's right, level one. Technically, it's bugged, but Blizzard has no intention of fixing or replacing it. The difference here is it's still technically bugged, but whether or not it's tradable here is another issue.

It depends on how 'bugged' is defined by this forum, and I haven't heard any word other than yours so far. Can you gaurantee I won't get banned? I just don't want to lose my '1337'ness.|||Shael rune for 4 os Crystal sword?

/w *deetox|||Well, considering that there have been a number of trades posted here for the eth bugged armors I don't believe you would get in any trouble posting yours; the worst that would happen would be your trade thread being closed, but the guides would be setting a precidence doing that. I still can't remember a single ladder trade thread being closed from this season or last because of items they offered for trade.

As for what lodtrader offered, maybe I'm a little confused. How I read it, it seemed that he was offering you an ist for all 6 of the items he wanted from you, not an ist for each one. If he were offering you an ist for each item, wouldn't he say "6 ists for these" or "an ist for each item"? So correct me if I'm wrong on that.

I figured since you thought a pul each was a little low from lodtraders offer, about an um value might be acceptable for the vortex. I haven't seen your other thread that you are referring to, so I didn't know this was an item you were considering hanging on to since you didn't mention anything about it in this thread.

Darnoc|||Sorry for the OT

As far as the socketed eth armour bug they do not alow them to be traded in the european trading forum and in the single player trading forum so i would imagine it would be the same for here.

I have only seen this posted in the european trading forum where socketed eth armour bug was not allowed and i had to pm a mod about the singleplayer trading but as far as i can see they all feel the same.
